Crop Protection Contract Sales & Channel Activation
AgCall Inc. has an exciting opportunity for agricultural professionals to complete sales and market development activities during a 9-month program. This is a contract position in the crop protection industry, beginning October 1, 2025 and ending June 1, 2026. Tasks include phone conversations and on-site visits with high-potential retail partners to increase awareness, demand, and sales of the product portfolio.
The candidate will be responsible for launching the company’s portfolio of new crop protection products to an assigned list of retailers and new prospects in their assigned region. They should have agricultural sales experience, and familiarity with local agricultural production practices for common specialty and row crops in their area. The candidate must be self-motivated, with excellent attention to detail, timely reporting and clear communication. Experience in agriculture retail sales, and established relationships with retailers, dealers and sales agronomists in their assigned territory is required.

- Georgia (to cover the southeast)
- California – Fresno / San Joaquin Valley
- Pennsylvania/New York – Northeast territory – will cover Michigan to New York, with a majority of work in NY/PA
- North Dakota/South Dakota/Minnesota – 2 reps needed for this territory

- Eastern Nebraska & Kansas
Timeframe
October 1, 2025 to June 1, 2026
Requirements
- Must be available for day travel to complete retail visits from approximately October 2025 through May 2026, conducting introductory and follow-up site visits to establish a relationship and deliver product sales
- Must be able to work an average of 100 hours per month, including scheduled team meetings to share insight and progress
- Proven experience in selling crop protection products to retailers or a retail business is a must
- Strong agronomy background with an understanding of crop production practices required
- Detail-oriented with excellent notetaking, record-keeping and communication skills
- Ready access to a computer, email, and smartphone
- Must complete weekly reporting to show progress in key objectives of increasing awareness, demand and sales of the product portfolio
- Ability to work independently within the territory, covering your assigned region
- May be active/semi-retired or retired retailers, manufacturer/distributor sales reps, agronomists or other ag professionals; must be comfortable meeting with retailers and following a sales process
- Potential to bring past and present relationships in agricultural sales to the table is desirable
- Must have reliable transportation to complete in-person visits with retailers
- Travel for training required – training date will be in early October
- Comfortable with cold calling and prospecting new retailer targets
