To strengthen our growing client facing team, we are looking for an Ag Talent Recruiter based from their home office with strong ties to US agriculture.

You will be on the front lines of contact with potential associates and industry leaders, which requires a friendly and dynamic personality to engage with candidates. Ag Talent Recruiter Responsibilities
  • Be an ambassador of AgCall in the Ag industry; focus on talent acquisition and retention
  • Actively building relationships with leaders and individuals in the Ag industry, college contacts, associate memberships, trade groups
  • Managing, developing, and growing a pipeline of appropriate talent in advance of need
  • Qualifying candidates through phone or online interviews
  • Assessing and matching qualified candidates with the relevant job position
  • Working with Project Managers to prepare job descriptions, post, source, pre-screen and shortlist the appropriate talent
  • Updating the AgCall database with candidate profiles and documents
  • Building relationships with associates and expand the network
  • Actively contributing to successful execution of AgCall's Recruiting Strategy
Qualifications
  • A connection to the agriculture community and a passion for working in the agriculture community is a key requirement
  • Strong communication skills to interface with associates and team members
  • Strong decision making and interpersonal skill
  • Resourceful in nature and abilities to find candidates from different sources in rural areas
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Deliver service excellence and build strong relationships with your team and associates
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain accurate documentation and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

  • Familiar and passionate about agriculture in North America

  • Fluent with Microsoft programs (MS Office suite) able to learn and quickly adapt to other computer platforms
