As a recruiter with AgCall you will be on the front lines of contact with potential associates and this requires a friendly and dynamic personality that can engage with potential candidates.

Skills Required

  • A connection to the agriculture community and a passion for working in the agriculture community is a key requirement

  • Strong communication skills to interface with associates and team members

  • Strong decision making and interpersonal skills

  • Resourceful in nature and abilities to find candidates from different sources in rural areas of Canada

  • Work positively in a team environment

  • Deliver service excellence and build strong relationships with your team and associates

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain accurate documentation and meet deadlines

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook


  • Manage, develop and grow a pipeline of appropriate talent

  • Ability to assess and match a qualified candidate with the relevant job position

  • Work with Project Managers to prepare job descriptions, post, source, pre-screen and short list the appropriate talent

  • Support with the on-boarding and training processes

  • Qualify candidates through phone interviews

  • Update database with candidate profiles and documents

  • Build relationships with associates
